Junior Hot Shots Pickleball in Red Deer

Categories: Club News

We are excited to be working with Pickleball Alberta to run their new Junior Hot Shots program!

The goal of the HOT SHOTS program is to increase diversity and inclusion in the sport of pickleball, specifically for juniors aged 6 to 18. We are looking to build awareness of the game of pickleball with our affiliated clubs, parents, and youth in the community.

The program has is an 4-week Learn to Play program, led by NCCP coaches, where participants will receive one hour of pickleball instruction per week. There will be a modest registration fee for the Learn To Play program that is being heavily subsidised by Pickleball Alberta.

Registration is $75.00 per person and includes: 4 weeks of lessons, a Pickleball Alberta Poach paddle, hot shots cap, and premium safety glasses. There are only twenty-four spots available. Participants must be members of both Pickleball Alberta and Pickleball Canada, Which is included when you buy a membership with the Red Deer Pickleball Club.

We have been selected as one of 15 clubs across Alberta to run this program.
