The sunshine is back, and so is pickleball season in Red Deer! We’re excited to announce that the Red Deer Pickleball Club’s outdoor courts officially open to the public on May 1, 2025. Whether you’re new to the sport or a seasoned player, we can’t wait to see you out enjoying the game.
✅ Members Get Early Access
If you’re already a member, you don’t have to wait! Early access to the courts is available right now for drop-in play or private groups. Book your courts through the Court Reserve app and enjoy the early season perks of membership before the official open date.
We’ve already welcomed nearly 500 members for the 2025 season, including over 175 new sign-ups in just the last two weeks. If you’re not yet a member, now’s the perfect time to join and start playing today.
🆓 Come Try Pickleball for Free!
From May 5 to May 18, we’re inviting non-members to come experience pickleball—for free! During these special drop-in times, there will be no charge for non-members:
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM daily
6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Whether you’ve never played before or are just getting back into the game, this is a fun, friendly way to check out the sport. We’ll have mentors on-site to explain the basics and get you into the action. Come give it a try!
Starting May 19, the non-member drop-in fee will be $15 per visit, payable on-site (exact change preferred).
📅 Organised Play & Court Bookings
Organised play begins May 1, with scheduled sessions for both rated and non-rated play based on volunteer availability. All sessions and court bookings can be found on the Court Reserve app—your hub for staying in the loop and planning your play.
–Only members can book courts for private games.
–Non-members are welcome at designated drop-in times or when invited by a member.
–If you haven’t set up your account on Court Reserve yet, now’s the time. You can use the app or log in through your web browser.

- No Portable Fire Pits: To keep our courts safe and clean, fire pits are not allowed on-site.
- Court 1 & 2 Booking Policy: These courts are reserved for drills, lessons, and ball machine practice to support player development.
